Waliz Helper for macOS
Apply your look, locally.
Waliz Helper is a small menu-bar app for your Mac. You choose everything on waliz.app, in My iPhone; the helper does the work on your Mac, over a trusted USB cable, and asks you before writing anything. Nothing reaches your phone from the cloud.
Download Waliz Helper for MacWaliz.dmg · 31 MB · macOS 14 or later · Apple silicon and Intel
Install it
- Open Waliz.dmg and drag Waliz into Applications.
- Open Waliz from Applications. This test version is not yet signed by Apple, so the first time macOS may say it cannot check it: click Done, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway next to Waliz, then confirm. You only do this once.
- Waliz appears at the top right of your screen, next to the clock, and opens My iPhone to link this Mac to your account.
How it works
- Open Waliz Helper on your Mac. It shows a 6-character code: type it in My iPhone to pair this Mac with your account.
- Plug your iPhone into the Mac with a cable. Unlock it and tap Trust if asked.
- Click Find my cards, then open Wallet on the iPhone and tap the cards you want to restyle.
- Pick a card, then one of your designs or a Waliz template, and click Apply.
- Your Mac downloads the design, checks its fingerprint, and shows you a summary. Nothing is written before you click Apply there.
Requirements
- A Mac with macOS 14 or later, Apple silicon or Intel.
- An iPhone on a validated iOS version, connected with a cable.
- See the compatibility notes before applying anything.
What it never does
- It never asks for card numbers, security codes, PINs or banking passwords.
- It never sends your iPhone logs or card identifiers to our servers.
- It never applies a design on its own, when you plug in your phone or open a design.
- It opens no network port: it only calls the Waliz API, and only accepts four kinds of request (scan, stop, apply, cancel).
